Well, here I am.

I don't know why, but I decided that I didn't want to use my livejournal to blog about my crafty projects. I wanted something separate. So here I am.

I knit. I am about to attempt sewing. I love my hot glue gun, and think magnetic tape was the best invention ever. I like using knitting patterns as inspiration and like to make things up as I go. I have some inexplicable avoidance to knitting socks; could be because I prefer to be barefoot whenever possible.

The title of the blog comes from a Metric song, "Glass Ceiling." I like Metric. A lot. I like other bands, too. You can ask me about them if you like, but since they're not the focus of this blog, I will try not to rave about music too much.
